Meet the Chef!
Tanya Adkisson has always had a love for food. She grew up in a small town in Bozrah, Connecticut. She was raised on a small working farm with fresh meats & produce. She was taught at a very young age the skills needed to prepare food. During her high school years, she took all the cooking classes her high school had to offer. Upon graduation, Tanya decided to pursue a degree in culinary arts and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1992. She relocated to Florida and started her restaurant career along with her family. In 2003 Tanya was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is when her journey with food to fight her disease began. With the right diet, meds, and exercise she is in remission. After many years as a stay-at-home mom, learning and creating an anti -inflammatory diet, Tanya founded Tanya's Fresh Prep in 2021 and hopes to share the healing factors in food as she prepares her gourmet healthy meals for you!
Tanya enjoys life & loves her family.
When she is not in her kitchen, she loves spending time with family & friends exploring the great outdoors. She loves the beach, traveling, exploring all the Florida Springs, exercising, kayaking, and paddle boarding. She has a love for Jesus.
