Menu highlights for this week…
This week I'm incorporating pork, sweet potatoes, & apples. There's a reason why applesauce is always served with pork. It's yummy. Instead of apple sauce I'm using Pink Lady Apples & yummy bright sweet potatoes. Sweet Potatoes have so many nutritional values. They are loaded with fiber & potassium. Known to help reduce the risk of cancer and helps maintain healthy blood pressure levels. I'm also cooking ground turkey burgers. No buns of course. My turkey burgers are freshly made, grilled & packed with flavor & of coarse cheese. Turkey burgers are so versatile. Toppings definitely make the theme. They are packed with protein and very lean with little fat, so of course good for you.
Roasted beets are one of my favs. Jim from BUY FARM FOODS always has the freshest.
I also changed the salad this week. I'm adding Farro back into this week's menu. I used Farro this time last year. It's a great grain and will keep you full longer.
