This week's Spotlight: Protein


Eating high protein foods has many benefits including speedy recovery after exercise, reducing muscle loss, building lean muscle, helps maintain a healthy weight & curbs hunger (that's my fav). Protein is also a critical part of the processes that fuel your energy and carry oxygen throughout your body in your blood. It also helps make antibodies that fight off infections and illnesses and help keep cells healthy and create new ones.

Tracking your protein intake will help you reach your goals. I use My Fitness Pal. It's a free app and you can log everything you eat.
